About Doggie Breaks Wales
It is important to me, that from the minute you leave your dog in my care, you feel happy, knowing that your dog is being well looked after. Doggie Breaks Wales is in a safe, rural location, with access to our own unspoilt woodland and a fully fenced half acre garden, all at the end of long farm track. There are no main roads in sight, just green fields, trees and meadows.
Having worked for many years at one of Wales’ leading Labrador Show and Breeding Kennels, I was responsible for the care and well-being of over 18 labradors at any one time, including preparing for, and showing at, Crufts. Owning and caring for dogs has always been a major part of my life and Doggie Breaks Wales was inevitably, therefore, going to happen at some point!
I have said hello to many newly whelped litters and sad goodbyes to wonderful and wise older dogs. I have trained and worked with some truly great dogs and have a vast experience of many breeds, not just labradors. I now personally own labradors and border collies, here at my home in Wales.
At Doggie Breaks Wales, I offer all the comforts of home, but so much more. Situated in the centre of Coed y Felin woods, acres and acres of beautiful Forestry Commission land, I can provide your dog with all he needs, from a gentle stroll to an energetic run through woodland, across fields or in local wildflower meadows. We live half a mile, down a farm track, so you will feel happy, knowing your dog is safe, as well as being cared for by a responsible, experienced, true dog lover.
Whatever you provide for your dog, I will too. There will be lots of play, cuddles and a warm cosy bed, in front of the log burner. Whether your dog sleeps in a crate, dog bed or even at the foot of your own bed, Doggie Breaks Wales will provide that for him also.
I always encourage owners to let their dogs bring something of their own, a scent of home, which acts as a comfort throughout their stay. Remember to bring his favourite soft toy, or whatever he loves and cannot live without.
Better still, before you decide on Doggie Breaks Wales, come along and visit me with your dog, so I can answer any questions you may have. You will be greeted with a warm Welsh welcome and the kettle is always on!
We also have a Doggie Breaks in England.
